Is there a difference between a wall wart for charging and one for power?

I have an LED light that came with no power supply, only a USB-A connection for power. I had it connected to a wall wart, then this morning i noticed it was noticably dimmer than usual. So i plugged it into my Anker charger and it was bright again. So i am looking for another wall wart, but is one that is a charger fine? Or do I need to seek out one for power? Edit fixed the title

Unable to combine multiple pets in photos

I adopted a new kitten a few weeks ago, and ended up with 4 albums for him. One I think is a person, an actual contact. One I was able to combine with one of the others, and then another album showed up for him with a different picture. So I am back to 4 albums for him. I tried adding the main album and deleting him from the others and that seems to work on some images but not others. If I select two or more albums and try to merge it is greyed out. If I try and drag them into one another the other album moves. Anyone found a solution for this situation? Kitten tax: The first time I met him.  After spending about 20 minutes taming him.  Big stretch.

Clan Search alternative on PS5?

Since I have been playing a lot more I decided to look to join a clan. But the interface on the PS5 is pretty bad. It starts with Clans that are full and goes down to clans that have a couple spots available. I would rather join a clan with 20-30 people in it. Is there another way to search clans? I did find the [latest clans and communities](https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/d4/c/clans-and-communities/19) forum on the blizzard forums. But I would rather something where I can scroll through clans and read about them.

How far back do iCloud backups go?

I purchased an M4 iPad Pro and it arrived today. I went to set it up from my previous iPad Pro but it is running iPadOS 18, and 17.7 is the highest for the M4 currently. I updated on the 17th I think (a day or two after 18 came out) and wondering if I should wipe the new iPad and start again and try using a 17.x backup, or set up as a new device.

Are you happy with your nano textured display? Was it worth the extra cost?

I recently had to replace the iPad I was using as my register in my business. I have been using my iPad Pro (2018) for the time being. But I need to get a second device. My current iPad has 512gb and I am bouncing between the same or 1tb, but since the nano glass screens only come one the 1tb+ models I am thinking about going that route. I have astigmatism from an eye injury, so screen glare is a killer for me. I currently have a matte paper like screen protector on my pro. If you got the nano glass and had it to do over again would you still get it? If you were leaning towards the 512gb model but went with larger storage for the nano glass, was that worth it to you?

KRQE’s sister station, KTSM, captured video showing troops putting up concertina wire and fencing on the riverbank in the El Paso, Texas, area Tuesday afternoon. The expansion came three days after Texas Gov. Greg Abbott posted on X that the state would triple its razor wire border barriers to “deny illegal entry into our state and our country.” Gov. Lujan Grisham released the following statement about Texas’ actions: Gov. Abbott seems to be pushing to make Texas its own country without regard for his neighbors or the fact that Texas is already part of a great nation—the United States. If he doesn’t think that New Mexico is important to the overall well-being of Texas, then he must be forgetting about the Permian Basin and the oil industry that straddles our two states. I don’t see him laying concertina wire there. Gov. Abbott’s latest political stunt at the border will have no meaningful impact on our nation’s broken immigration system. Fabuland 121/328 Moe vs Michael vs Mitchell Mouse

My first ever LEGO set was this Roadster*. I add the asterisk because it was not actually this roadster. Mine was Mitchell Mouse, not Moe, and not Michael. I am trying to find the pieces to mine, because I remember the doors, and the body being red. The same color as the chassis. My instructions are long gone, however in one of my boxes of instructions in my storage shed there are pieces of this booklet. Does anyone else recall their set being named Mitchell? I cannot find anything to back ups this claim other than mine and my father’s memory of it.

The search bar for open tabs is moved in Safari on ipadOS 18

Anyone know if it is possible to get the search box back? I am one of those people who collects open tabs, i have always loved that safari on ipad always gives you the search box, unlike iphone where it is only at the top of all your open tabs. But now with 18 it appears to moved to the top of all the tabs like iphone.

A 17-year-old Colorado boy was shot in the face Tuesday after he and a friend went to a home to ask permission to take homecoming photos on the property. The shooting happened around 4:15 p.m. at a home on Pleasant Park Road in Jefferson County, the sheriff's office said. When deputies arrived, the 17-year-old was "bleeding heavily from his face, as a second juvenile applied pressure to his friend's wounds with a t-shirt," the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said in a news release Wednesday. The teen is recovering from his injuries. Brent Metz, the boyfriend of a woman who lives at the home, was arrested in connection with the shooting. He was booked on charges of first-degree assault, felony menacing, illegal discharge of a firearm, and reckless endangerment. It’s not clear if he has obtained an attorney. The sheriff's office said the woman, who was not at the home, had called deputies before the shooting to report two trespassers on her property. She also called Metz, who drove over to the home and allegedly blocked the teen's car from leaving, according to NBC affiliate KUSA of Denver. Metz then got out of his vehicle and allegedly fired one round through the windshield of the teen's car, the news station reported. The 17-year-old told deputies that he and his friend went to the home because they wanted to take pictures there. He said they parked outside the gate, hopped the fence and walked up the driveway to look for the homeowner, the sheriff's office said in a news release. When they could not find anyone at the residence, the boys "walked around the property trying to locate a homeowner" and then got back in their car, the sheriff's office said. "They returned to their car and began writing a note to the homeowner, asking permission to use their property to take pictures," authorities said. "While they were doing this, a man they had never seen before pulled up next to them, exited the truck he was driving, and fired a round through the windshield, striking the 17-year-old driver in the face." A sheriff's office spokesperson told KUSA that the teen's intent did not seem "malicious or criminal." According to an arrest affidavit obtained by the news station, one of the teens said they heard Metz say, "Oh s---, my gun just went off," after the shooting. Metz tried to help the 17-year-old but his friend pushed him away, the affidavit says. Metz, 38, is a council member for the town of Mountain View, according to KUSA. The town administrator declined to comment when contacted by NBC News on Thursday.

Empty Comments

Unsure if this is a Mlem or Sopuli issue, but I have been having comments be empty after posting them. Even after multiple edits they are still empty. I went back and fixed a few of them with Arctic and the edits appear to have stayed (which leads me to believe this is a Mlem issue rather than my instance). Has anyone else been experiencing this while using Mlem (possibly on a different instance).
