No, he stood in front of it and took a picture awkwardly holding a piece of equipment he had never seen in his fucking life while silently praying to himself that anybody cared enough to vote for him.

    Pathetic.

The first step into the world of owning your tech is knowing what can actually run on it. It's not just Linux. Just not Windows or MacOS.

If you're super into what you've just accomplished, have a look at the ESP32 ecosystem and behold.

If you've ever seen someone like a reality TV personality or aging pop star try to start a restaurant, this is that exact same thing. There's always some SUPER awkward PR footage of these folks working someone else's job at this new business and trying to show they understand it. They have zero fucking clue. Most recent I can think of was the Eminem fried chicken restaurant he started. So bad.

Gotta say, I love the idea behind this project, and it's great you're reaching out to this community here. I haven't run it myself yet, but it looks great, and the feature list is massive.

Couple questions really stopping somebody like myself from setting up an instance though.

    1. It's not "just" a launcher, and it's not quite a distribution platform. Is this mostly geared towards people playing the same game on multiple machines?

    2. It seems like this is setup as a Steam replacement, but only for a DRM-Free games, so why would you (as a creator) suggest I use this instead?

    3. This also seems like there's a world in which this is set to be a decent game hosting platform. Plans?

    Thanks for showing up.

It's illegal, regardless of whether or not his own language mentions a candidate to vote for. Nobody will press charges because they don't want to waste the time and money though. It would have to be a grassroots campaign to get charges filed.

    Get to it, Pennsylvania!

Totally. He's mocking them on a number of different levels, and it's extra fucked up:

    • he's been wealthy his entire life and never worked a job
    • he's doing this to mock Harris
    • it's not an actual representation of all the bullshit and hard work the people working there have to deal with
    • it's a campaign stunt
    • he's probably never even ordered in an actual McDonald's before
    • he has absolutely no clue what those people get paid
    • those workers won't even be eligible for the "no tax on tips" bullshit he's trying to win people over with

There's like a dozen more I could pick out, but these are just the most egregious.

Israel is like the person who doesn't know when to stop in an argument. You're ahead. Quit while you're ahead instead of bringing everyone else into it and then everyone is against you.

LLM is a sorting tool. It's not capable of novel ideation, only derivative. The only thing this might help with is research. Not to mention federal and state regulations require human representation to file anyway.

BitWarden already has lots of clients. There's also VaultWarden for the server if you want.

This is being blown a bit out of proportion though. All they are saying is the official SDK may have some non-free components going forward. So what? It's a private company, they can do what they want. Or the community can just fork it and move forward with a free one if they want, but it's just not going to be in the official BitWarden clients. Hardly news or a big deal.
