How do you enable compact mode now? Happy to see that the default sorting bug was fixed!

Is a fix for default sorting resetting to All upon app refresh a priority? It’s driving me nuts lol, other than that no complaints

That’s fair. I was one of the lucky ones and was in the first wave of shipments in late feb/early March. Maybe people that didn’t realize just how extensive a screen replacement would be signed up and ordered one. Hopefully the regular price isn’t much more than the early bird pricing
Got the email a few mins ago and it’s already sold out. I doubt the interest was that much, did anyone here snag one?

Fully charged. The steam deck draws power from AC when the battery is over 90%

The only subreddit I miss is combatfootage, and we already have communities that fill that niche, albeit no where near as active

Myself and the guys I was referring to with crazy hardline loops are on first name basis with Linus, we all played left 4 dead together way back when before he even had a YouTube channel (ClosetGamer, anyone?) so his influence with these type of enthusiasts is still pretty strong, at least here in Canada. However he definitely lost a lot of respect with this response of his but honestly I didn’t expect anything different from him

The average consumer wouldn’t buy a block to begin with. I know quite a few guys that have spent thousands on their hardline setups, adding another $1000 CAD is a drop in the bucket to them. There is a market for it, just not a large one

Try telling that to the Somalians

You’re right. Instead I spent close to $7000 building a 150TB server ;)

Lmao complete opposite here. Smelled amazing, tasted horrible. Canned veggies and the gravy tasted like it was from a packet

Supreme. Roast beef, bacon, onions, peppers & mushrooms. Tasted horrible, didn’t even know that was possible for poutine.

It’s been broken for the last 3 TestFlight builds

It’s the battery. A lot of doorbell cameras have an internal battery to keep the camera powered when the chime is rung. A few of my friends have to replace their unifi doorbell cameras once a year after winter

Agreed. $5 MAYBE, $20 is out to lunch. And a subscription model for full features? Nah get outta here with that, that MIGHT be worth $20. The direction app development has gone over the last few years is a huge disappointment

Not possible. Best instance admins can do is add a donation link to the sidebar

Was this fixed in 0.6.0 (1)? I’m still seeing it reset to All upon app refresh

c/ links don’t work with memmy
The compact comments toggle does not condense the comments, the comments need to be much more condensed to be considered compact
On the current TestFlight build Memmy defaults to All every time the app is refreshed when Subscribed is selected in the settings
So I’m in the process of moving my discord server over to matrix. I rented a VPS with 2 cores/2gb of ram for this. What I’m having issues with is media store and federation. I believe I have the media_store configured corrected as I can post images in my own channels, however I get Error 500 while attempting to upload a profile picture with no other information. On the federation side of things, I joined #matrix:matrix.org on my server it syncs for a few seconds, my ram shoots up to 2gb usage and hard locks until I restart synapse. Am I missing a config flag? Or just not enough RAM to federate with an instance that big. Thanks
My lemmy apps can no longer connect to the API (Memmy, mlem, thunder, wefwef etc) unless I manually navigate to a community, however won’t accept requests to make posts or comments. Anyone else having this issue? Edit: reinstalling apps to force a re-auth fixes it
Odd question, but went to parallel 49 last night after a comedy show with a friend and had their nachos and we can’t stop thinking about them lol, anyone know how they make their tortilla chips that makes them so good, or the brand that they use? Thanks!
Great start to what will likely be a great app. I have a couple easy to implement UI/UX suggestions. 1: The community drop down bar I believe should display the community you’re currently viewing instead of displaying hot/new/most comments etc as you already have an icon displaying that. 2: A toggle in the settings to enable swipe anywhere to go back when swipe gestures is disabled to help with Plus/Pro Max users that have average/small hands lol. Other than those two minor complaints I’m loving the app, however!
Been building this server up for about 5 years, adding hard drives as needed. Running unraid E5-2698 v3 64gb ddr4 ecc X99-E WS P600 for transcoding 10gbit networking w/ 3gbit fibre WAN 15 HDDs of assorted sizes, totally 148TB, 132TB usable
