Alright fair enough. Though it seems this whole thing feels a bit fabricated. Alot of local people said they were booing not max but Gregg abbot who was presenting as a lot of people do not like him, however it's being spun as max being the target.

Don't drivers usually have some sort of body guards pretty often? I've seen lewis with guards before but it wasn't at mexico.

hey all, I've been using the Buttkicker Gamer Plus for a few weeks, and I must say it's honestly been a great addition to my sim racing setup. ![](https://lemmy.ca/pictrs/image/ffd58150-a244-476d-8e88-b963e722569a.webp) For those who may not be familiar with it, this device allows users to physically feel sensations through vibrations. The Buttkicker Haptic System can replicate sensations like engine vibrations, tire slip, the texture of the road, and gear shifts, elevating the virtual driving experience to a whole new level of realism and engagement. **A more in-depth review, with pictures, [here](https://blog.elegast.me/enhancing-your-sim-racing-experience-the-buttkicker-gamer-plus-haptic-system/)!** TLDR! - Provides feedback where it is essential (tire slip, etc) - Performance Boost: Improves driving skills and lap times(I find myself at a negative delta when its turned off, eventually I get back to pace) - Considerations: It makes noise, so depending on living situations, it is something to consider. There are cheaper DIY options, but this is a complete no thinking solution. - Easy Setup: Quick and straightforward installation. - Customization: Fine-tune settings for personal preference, you can do this via iRacing directly or with buttkicker-provided software. - Optimal Feedback: with the controller, you can quickly turn it up and down which is nice - Verdict: Highly recommended for affordable immersion in sim racing.

No issues, great quality videos. That fact that it seamlessly blends with my car's interior. ![](https://lemmy.ca/pictrs/image/542f878a-a1a9-425a-8c41-2b468a49f743.webp) Here is some info about it. No need to worry about Polestar 2 lacking a built-in dash cam; FitCamX has me covered with an easy, 10-minute installation. What's in the Box: - Dash Cam - Pre-installed 64GB micro-SD Card - USB SD Card Reader - Plastic Pry Tool - Power cable - User Manual Key Features: - Discreet design around my rearview mirror. - 8MP CMOS sensor for clear 4K video at 30fps. - 170-degree field of vision. - G-Sensor & Lock for collision footage protection. - Loop Recording (supports up to 128GB SD cards). - Access footage via the FitCamX app. I'm loving the hassle-free installation and superb video quality day and night. hey all, I have seen a couple of comments discussing foldable simracing rigs. I've had the chance to get my hands on the Next Level Racing GT-Lite Foldable Simracing Rig, so I wanted to share some insights. ![](https://lemmy.ca/pictrs/image/4709f81c-30b4-42e7-ad67-3e03e3d0c285.webp) If you want to dive deeper into this, check out a more detailed review with more pictures [right here](https://blog.elegast.me/review-of-the-next-level-racing-gt-lite-foldable-sim-racing-rig/)! tldr: - Assembly: Putting it together is a breeze, and it's versatile enough to work with various setups. - Adjustments: You've got some flexibility in customizing your wheel and pedal positions, but the backrest angle is set in stone. - Comfort: It's pretty convenient, but it does make a few comfort sacrifices in the name of portability. - Space Savings: If you're tight on space, this rig is a godsend. It folds up neatly for effortless storage. - Conclusion: Looking for a robust and portable solution to bring realism to your sim racing adventures in a cramped space? This seems like a solid solution.

ATM beeper Facebook bridge works fine. Use it daily. I'd prefer to self host beeper/matrix/bridges but haven't had time to set it up and got an invite to beeper a few weeks ago.

I just posted a similar response but I think the issue, at least for me, is how deep into the weeds I get with each subject. Anyone can be into coffee for example, but it's the ones who do the research and watch the videos about the subject in their free time, that make a simple thing such as coffee become more of an obscure thing. π€·ββοΈ

Seems like every hobby is too obscure for most to care at the level I do. Sim racing, rtlsdr, self hosting, ANY kind of motorsports, home automation, blogging, DND, video games... At the surface these are not too obscure but I find very few people in my day to day life that care about them in detailed way

I'm running triples 1080 @ 75hz. Outer 2 monitors are curved. They were just monitors I had around and were not bought with sim racing in mind. so the bezel is not the same across all devices, but eventually Ill get new monitors. Yep...that entire situation is so crappy. The devs deserved better.
Hey all, so I got the Buttkicker Gamer Plus over the weekend and was able to mess around with it. What a neat experience. If you're in an environment that allows you to use something like this I would highly recommend it. I did a quick write-up with some more details if you want to check it out.
