dual boot, you never know when will you be forced to use windows again
- and for those who suggest VM, there are situations where its a hassle to make thing work or its impossible all together ( updating bios is one of those )

Get a model near its end of market life, buy new the oldest you can find
This is a very good advice for someone who is buying a new phone to install a custom ROM on it, since they are indepandant effort they need some time to hack things and find workarounds

i don't think that's possible mate for 2 reasons :
- software companys pay antivirus software makers to flag and remove game cracks
- cracks use obfuscation and workaround techniques that are similar to whats used in viruses so most flag them as mallisious

Brother's driver install tool expects
dnf
,apt
, oryum
, and so it's incompatible with ostree-based systems like Kinoite or Silverblue. You can of course download the driver manually and install the necessary packages:
Not being able to provide support for every distro is the other edge of open source
Despite it being one of the most popular and feature rich download managers out there and it being foss, it seems that most repos don't have it ( except for flahub iirc) Is there is any reason behind that? ![](https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/pictrs/image/3c7da33f-1643-4d6a-84a6-ab4396a449f2.png)
The full GTA V source code has been leaked The leak contains GTA V source code and stuff from Bully 2 and GTA VI Leaked in a discord server by a random British guy in the 360 modding community known to get sued by Rockstar multiple times "Now i am expecting a open source version of gta to arrive soon on linux natively . Tired of playing supertuxcart." [Here is the source.](https://twitter.com/vxunderground/status/1739263588408164859) Another [one](https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/gta-5-source-code-reportedly-leaked-online-a-year-after-rockstar-hack/).
Edit : i was ignorant when i posted this however i think it is still safe to say that internet in **most** 3rd countries is bad or expensive in comparison to their income

looks like rendering adblockers extensions obsolete with manifest-v3 was not enough so now they try to implement **DRM** into the browser giving the ability to any website to refuse traffic to you if you don't run a complaint browser ( cough...**firefox** ) here is an article in [hacker news](https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=36817305) since i'm sure they can explain this to you better than i. and also some [github](https://github.com/RupertBenWiser/Web-Environment-Integrity/blob/main/explainer.md) docs
wow just wow while i can't say i didn't see this one coming but it always amazes me where greed could lead someone
