I remember seeing people complain that Game of Thrones has too many dicks swinging around. I can remember one specifically from the entirety of the show: towards the beginning of the show, possibly season 2 or 3, there was an assassination plot against Khaleesi and they left one of them alive so they could pull him with their horses while he was naked and bound. That's the only one I remember seeing from that whole show.

And then in The Boys there's only like two they've shown so far? Who is seeing all these dicks where there aren't any?

They're talking about "ultraviolence" like The Boys or Dredd. Scenes that show incredibly detailed and gory violent acts like someone getting their skull crushed against a wall, or someone literally going "splat" against the concrete after falling a hundred stories.

You never should've given asmongold anything of yours (time, effort, comments, whatever). The guy's absolutely fucking filthy and disgusting. Literally.

Apparently the dude never showers, never cleans anything, the house he lives in is worse than a pigsty. He smeared blood from his bleeding gums on the wall in his bedroom so he wouldn't have to get up in the night to deal with it. he's left dead rats sitting where they are on the floor until they just totally decompose into the floor.

And his gums are bleeding because he literally never eats anything other than junk food and soda.

Apparently his mom raised him to be like this (in the house tour video he said when he was a kid they would just get a new trash can whenever the previous one would fill up), and when she died a couple years ago I guess he just got even worse in his depression. The dude is literally wallowing in his own filth, it's just depressing to see.

And he's never seen fruit unless it was in a picture book or something. There's a video on another channel where he tastes different fruits for the first time in his life and he's shocked to find out that apples can come in colors other than red, and he almost throws up from eating any of the fruit. It's just fucking sad, and I'm appalled that anyone can look up to someone like that in any capacity whatsoever. I've seen comments online that say "yeah he's disgusting and a bigoted piece of shit, but he's knowledgeable about video games." Like he knows what it takes to make a game just because that's all he fucking does.

Haven't watched the trailer yet, but I'm assuming from the comments that it'll require a PSN?

I'm still really wanting to play this though. I'll wait for a decent sale before debating on buying it.

I mean the double feature that it premiered in was literally called Grindhouse as well.

I have both movies. They're fun. Death Proof moreso than Planet Terror, but Planet Terror has its moments.

That's how I feel about games like Borderlands. They're incredibly fun games with simple yet fun gameplay with decent stories and cool maps.

I can't get into the whole min/maxing, "proper" builds, or gear loadouts. I just wanna run through a wasteland blasting dudes in the face with cool guns and abilities.

Careful, if you play Morrowind and the other Elder Scrolls games, a lot of other RPGs won't feel nearly as satisfying to play.

There aren't many games where you can see a thing and just walk to it, or go into a random house and see (and interact with) all the shit they have from forks and plates to baskets and books. Speaking of books, how many other games are there that have actual books you can read in-game, that explain lore and have poems and plays like we have IRL?

And that's not even getting into builds and play styles. You can be a tanky heavy weapons expert who just steamrolls everything in a couple hits, or you can be a glass cannon archmage blasting dudes left and right; you can also be an entire mix of all the things if you want. Be a magic tanky stealth archer that takes what they want when they want. Also you can kill essential NPCs in Morrowind (in the later games they just get knocked out).

I love the Elder Scrolls games, jank and all. They're absolutely fantastic at putting you in an atmospheric world that feels lived in.

I'm with you. I'm perfectly content making myself ramen or some pasta or even just a bowl of cereal and toast.

But if I'm cooking for people, I'm actually putting in effort, dammit.

    Favorite Level?

I was just wondering everyone's favorite level(s) were/are. You can explain why you like it, or you can just name drop the level you like most. Mine are probably: 1) Assault on The Control Room, I love the big epic set pieces of the level, and it has probably the best/most "examples" of what Halo is as a game than any other in CE. You have big weapons, vehicles, large open battles, and awesome music. 2) Delta Halo from Halo 2. I love the lush jungle setting and going through the underwater elevator is always fun. Plus I love just beating the hell out of Truth. 3) Halo, from Halo 3. Like Assault on The Control Room, this level has it all

I finally decided to check them out, and it's actually pretty sweet! At their booth, they have a "forge" set up with different pieces so you can make your own custom hilt, then they put the electronics and all inside. The blade is extremely durable and can take a beating. They had a sign reading "free lightsaber battles" so people could mess around and try them out, and they encouraged them to hit them pretty hard. It has (I think) 9 different sound fonts, motion controls, color change, accelerometer so it reacts when you move it even just a bit which is actually very nice, clashing effects, blaster deflecting effects, a *drag* effect for some theatrical moments (like you're dragging it along the wall or floor), and saber locking effects. Overall it honestly just feels really nice, and it's decently lightweight as well so you can really swing it.

So I've been playing through all the Arkham games lately, and I had an interesting thought about the whole Arkhamverse as a storyline. I think the entire game series is based (loosely) on The Killing Joke story, with other major events, references, and storylines lifted from other Batman comics. I just think TKJ was used as a basis for the games' world. We see Joker's beginning with his flashback at the end of Arkham Origins, which is almost identical to his TKJ origin, as well as him crippling Barbara in that flashback during Arkham Knight (right down to the clothes he's wearing). The overall dark tone of the games lend to this theory, as well as Joker being shown just how sadistic he can be. What do you think?

If it's at all possible. I just find it kind of annoying to have to scroll through super long posts just to get to the comments. Review threads for newly released games in some of the gaming communities are what prompted this idea lol. Edit: what the hell is going on with that account that keeps spamming nonsense?

So I like to use Xbox controllers (doesn't matter if it's first- or third-party) because I like the layout, it's just comfortable to me. However I've noticed that on all my controllers in the past few years, the left thumb stick will start to "give out" over the course of a couple months. For instance I'll be pushing it forward all the way, but it won't register for some reason and my character will only move a little bit. Sometimes wiggling it a bit will fix it, sometimes it doesn't. And it's not like I'm squeezing the hell out of the controller or mashing the stick constantly; in fact it's made me try to be more delicate with my controllers, even though I'm just playing the games normally. Is it just how controllers are, or am I just getting the shit end of the stick?

Like, I travel around for work and I've met plenty of people from all backgrounds. Why is there a demographic of people who don't seemingly bathe regularly, or at the very least wear something to cover up their BO? I could understand if it's an allergy, or even religious reasons (though the people I've met that smell bad are usually you're average American young adult man) but recently (like in the past week, recently) I've met a concerning number of people who don't seem to wear any kind of deodorant or possibly don't even bathe regularly; it's starting to become an issue for me, as I don't even want to interact with them when I can smell them walking up from 3+ feet away yet I need to for work. Does anyone have any possible insight?
