Not doing it. I have deleted runs just because I found a +1, scroll dumped, then found a +3. I only go as low as +9 if I have a good ring of Force. Monsters at demon halls hurt if you have less than +12.

Ik how to play, I won 60 times. My playstyle involves lots of not using any upgrade scroll until I see a plate armor and I'm either in a hurry or it's +2 or more, then I scroll dump into the plate. It works fine for the other 4 characters, and I'm sure I can make it work with the duelist. There is just no way in Earth I'm upgrading a T2

Wizards using magic at point blank is a little bit too much, let's be honest. And you could call the water one an advantage for you, they distance more from you. Also, golem's ability has a cd, can't do that

Feel ya. The time I used it, it barely seemed like there was an increase on the number of paths. And I get why, maybe you might get a trap on corridors more often, on really annoying places to deactivate. So I just think increasing trap's AOE (+ a slight increase in the number of these) would make this a better trinket. It seems like Evan forgot about it, every other trinket is getting adjustments but this one.

Yea, I started by the end. Wasted a mind vision and another one I don't really remember. Either way, I later died.

Here's an idea I had: if you feed the book an upgrade when the book is already at +10 it has a chance of reading a scroll of enchantment. Maybe all accessories could have a new mechanic, an extra ability that unlocks at +10 and using one single upgrade scroll to them.

To fix the unstable spellbook they just need to add the transmutation scroll in lmao

I also use it for the free mystical energy scroll, which takes 2 charges but gives 3. And magic mapping and lullaby (free heal) although they are unreliable
