![](https://lemmy.fmhy.ml/pictrs/image/74046310-e0f3-41cc-86a4-0afc1d5ed9e8.png) ok, so I've just started to learn python so very sorry for being a absolute dumbell. I'm doing some test stuff and noticed when I build and run my programs, they run yes, but they don't actually do anything. I've made sure to set the right language in sublime editor. perhaps it's something I've done wrong? when the console prints out the first question, i type in a number, but then nothing else happens. it seems to only print the first line and that's it. it's supposed to prompt the "second:" but it does nothing. I would really appreciate your help. thank you.

oooh! that's actually really neat! so hypothetically, with docker you could set up a server super quick and with jellyfin/navidrome/slskd I can use said server to stream my music and etc to different devices and back? I should try that out! thank you
Scrimby 1y ago • 100%
oh i see, thank you, I appreciate it!
Scrimby 1y ago • 100%
may I ask, from what i've seen jellyfin and navidrome appear to be file transfer network applications? and docker looks like a application workflow type deal? what makes it useful for media? (im not sure what it does exactly so i'd like to know how it works?) thank you

I feel kinda bad, I'm not a software dev. while these are all great ideas, they don't apply to me, i'm very sorry.

great idea, while I don't dabble in unknown software myself, that is a really smart way to do it, thank you!
Hello!, I was wondering (sorry about this, i'm no Einstein) what can one do with a virtual machine? what I mean by that is what cool things could one do? maybe use it to play older games, perhaps even make it a storage medium?. I personally like to use applications/games on vm's (im also love customizing the whole thing, artist impulse). Do any of you have any suggestions? thank you for your input.

Hello! welcome to this community! (i don't know what to say, but we appreciate you being here!)
Hello good people, I was wondering where I could possibly find a PDF of "manga matrix: create a character using the matrix method" or just manga matrix for short, I've been looking for it for awhile now but all I can seem to find is "super manga matrix" which I presume is the sequel. Being an artist who loves to create funny creatures id love to see it again! But if you can't find it that's fine too. Thank you!.

Hello, I was wondering about if there were any driver updating software that is **-not adware -for linux ** I am in a big predicament concerning this laptop i've had for awhile. one day the keyboard just stopped working, i've finally decided to check it again an here are some notes. **-the ribbon is clean -some keys do work, but they all press shift? -the "j" key when pressed lights up the internet key?? -when said working keys are pressed, they constantly press the shift key and I have to restart the computer to get it to stop. ** I presume that it's the drivers being really corrupted? so TL:DR where can I find a driver troubleshooter/driver updating software. thank you for your time!
