Definitely an old franchise that I enjoyed. I love the first few, was a huge Desmond and Ezio fan. Once they were gone changes slowly started. Games started to bloat and the hawk for surveillance I really didn't like. That's when I decided not to bother anymore.

Really looking forward to this one.

Well Sony can do whatever they wish but that doesn't mean I have to do what they want. Normally ignore any Sony related games nowadays.

Yeh the ancient aliens vibe with magic isn't my cup of tea. Just my opinion and all are free to object.

I do find it confusing a Japanese man wasn't chosen as well though considering the focus is a black samurai that's fine. The mtx's will help their game profit like the others.

Actually was expecting a Japanese man and woman to choose from.

They never care until stocks plummet and long time fans avoid the game until sales come along. Think the cheapest package will be 70$ while the highest is subscription based.

Exactly, they are never getting my money.

Shame, I love the first few AC's ☺️ It was so immersive with good stories. This franchise is dead to me.

Missed Desmond and the first few AC's with Ezio, won't be buying this one.

I'm against censorship. Sucks not being able to see what the developers created first hand you know. First thoughts that come to my mind is its because of corporate, political or religious reasons. Really could give a crap about someone wanting to see boobies move as they battle monsters 😂 I just see it as you see an ad and when you get the product it's nothing like you envisioned. Stuff like that isn't new and folks will learn to focus on these examples and decide in the future to support or object such business practices.

Totally agree, as a parent you have to spend time with your children. Sit with them and watch the games they play; Ask them about gameplay, what's the objectives? Is it multiplayer? Does it have a cash shop? You gotta be on top of them, if not then overtime habits form.

Gotta look it up now ☺️

I love that its brutal when you start out. Everything can kill you. From bandits, to creatures, hell even certain regions are hazardous. First time playing and exploring the biomes I was walking on egg shells constantly, really enjoyed that. Overtime you get attached to your npc as they continuously get into fights and try to not lose a limb (seriously). Lore wise (if you are into that like I am) you start shifting through bits of relics from the past on your travels. You can buy maps or just randomly discover landmarks as you roam. There's also politics and you'll learn with time who is in charge of what. Is it safe to enter here or stay there? You are free to be whatever you want; Have a storefront and sell your crafts for cash (cats), explore and make bank with old artifacts you find, become a thief and run mock stealing, grow drugs and profit from that, you can build a base or not. Choose to make a large squad or keep is small. Watch as they fight & work together. Each play through is always different and if you love mods then you can go crazy with added customization. If that sounds good than you can totally wait for it to go on sale if anything. Kenshi 2 is in the works now so will definitely look forward to that one ☺️

Yeh I saw the same video. Right now there are tons of youtube videos made by different gamers (this past week) that have been expressing their dislike over how SBI have been terrorizing companies to hired them. Good this is coming back to the surface again so we are aware of these business practices.
Started a new play through and I must write, love taking screen shots 😊

Not sure if I'm even posting correctly but here goes. I'm pretty new to Lemmy, the whole reddit thing has just lead to me to deleting my old account and exploring new places. So far I like Lemmy and have learned how to subscribe and maneuver my way around instances and such. Also downloaded the ios beta app which I have enjoyed and has help fill in my need to read topics anytime I get a chance to sit and relax. I feel like I need to be more tech savy though. I get the impression that these communities are filled with more linux users than windows like me. In my mind I just picture people with thick glasses who understand coding and are geniuses basically. Joking ^_^ My question is which sites can I go to for tutorials and just learning the lingo (didn't know Instances meant servers for example) Anything linked to fediverse I have to begin to be familiar with. Thanks in advance.
