Yes but it's not to late to stop the worse of it, if we keep our governments and companies accountable we can limit the worse of it.

You can do some volunteering without out degrees like with St Johns Ambulance who will give you the training to be a driver, event first aider, etc. I know a guy who volunteered as an ambulance driver who was an engineer by trade. Just as an example.

It is also frustrating when different calculators have different orders of operations and dont tell you.

For me to keep it off was the challenge. I Started by working out how much I needed to eat for maintenance, through calculators and counting my calories for a couple of weeks.
Then I just brought a small deficit of a couple hundred cals, and increased exercise; making sure to go for a walk each day, started lifting weights at the gym.
Now im halfway to my weight goal. But it was all about setting the habits and keeping them going, turning down extra cake in the office or having a smaller lunch to balance everything out, now I dont have the same cravings I used to. Its been a slow year but I am happy with it.

Long time reader, first time commenter.
Its going fairly well for me, had a nice chat with family the other day. Ive lost about half of the weight I want to (slow and steady in a healthy way). And I think the friendly banter with a friend is getting rather friendly so will see where that goes.

I'd love to see this backfire with all the skilled workers in the public sector demand a pay rise to that level because they have set a value to it 😂

Maybe something to experiment with like everything with minis, I find a little goes a long way. There is never a final project 😉

Its similar to that but i think they behave a bit different. Its more just making the shadows pops and giving some texture. It is completely optional and down to preferences. Example here No worries, you should be proud of them.

Look very nice, this on a resin printer? Personally to give them a bit of depth id give them a coat with a wash they will really pop then. But there are definitely table ready. Have fun 😉

Glad to know I'm not the only one doing the stupid government mental health walk for my mental health that stupidity works 😂.
Your curtains/blinds can insulate the room but you get less light. Maybe also try some foil or radiator reflectors to bounce the heat away from the wall and into the room. Personally I get really comfortable under a fluffy blanket with a teapot next to me. But I like the cold over the heat.

There is a thing called Coppicing or National Trust Link where the stump shoots off and grows new trunks from there. Its not exactly the same and some trees are better suited for it than others.

Thanks for reminding me to be patient, my chilli plants have started ripening the past week or so. Though I'd share the results with you all.
This Casio took me through school, and most of uni. Well battle worn, still working. Please dont send me to calculator jail xD.

Imagine the backlash and congestion if they did that.
Hi All, I have a couple of potted chilli plants which have been fruiting for a while, but they are growing but are staying green. They then keep flowering and fruiting more and not putting the effort to ripen the existing chillis. Any tips?
What apps/spreadsheets are you all using to track your exercise progress?
I use either comic sans, or similar fonts when writing the document and forget to change it all the coments are "reformat from comic sans". Using comic sans as its easier for my dyslexic brain to read.
On the bright side its good exercise reracking them, once i confirm that noone is using them.
Having used a Ti84+ and Casio FX83GT for my secondary education, and borrowing a HP32 from a classmate at university I really like the stack approach and rpn so I caved with a HP35s which mostly did the job but wasn't pocketable and a bit clumsy for me I found a HP32sii and snapped it up becoming my daily driver for a long time. It scratched an itch i didn't know i had, then wanting to expand my programming and plotting I didnt like the look of the 49g and the 50g being out of my budget I found a nice HP48G that sits on my desk for the more complex work where the RPL hits the needs as well as a "quick" plotter. Even managed to bond with the older grumpy engineers over the calculators and rpn. Im sure my collection will continue to grow.
But please send help maybe a cryptographer.
I have been troubleshooting this script for weeks and finally found it was trying to divide by zero.
I used to read alot devouring books on the bus to school/work (almost like the movement help my dyslexia 😂) but recently I have been struggling to get into books having not been able to get past the first few chapters. Do yous have tips or methods for when you're in a bit of a reading funk?
