Meta fails to knock out states’ claims that Facebook, Instagram are addictive for young users

  A federal judge mostly denied Meta's request to dismiss claims by 34 states that it designed social media apps like Facebook and Instagram to make them addictive for minors, resulting in a variety of harms to children, local governments and the public health.
