Sheriff Nanos: Challenger Lappin helped reporter pay inmate for story

  The Republican challenger to Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos was suspended from her post at the county jail because she "colluded with a journalist" to pay an inmate for a news story, a spokesman for the sheriff said Tuesday.
