Photogrammetry
Photogrammetry allows generating 3D data from images. Free photogrammetry software: - [Meshroom](https://alicevision.org/) - I use this. Currently requires Nvidia graphics, [but work is being done on that.](https://github.com/alicevision/AliceVision/issues/439) - More: https://all3dp.com/1/best-photogrammetry-software/
Brand new to using photogrammetry and metashape. What are your general rules of thumb/software specific tips to get the most out of your images?

So i figured I get one set up on Lemmy to give people a place to start over & homely avoid splintering our already small community. > > So to start it off i'd thought I'd share a machine learning Data-Flow model I've had some success with for generalizing machine learning applications for photogrammetric terrain modeling.
Not the best point cloud, high reflectivity meant that correlating points was difficult.
Meshroom. Quality isn't great, but it recognized the shape surprisingly well.
