Escondido deserves some love! The community is vibrant with so many things. I especially like the California Center for the Arts. Last year we saw the San Diego Symphony Orchestra play Beethoven's Fifth Symphony there. Unforgettable

I've lived in Escondido now for just two years. So still trying to find the best of everything in the North County. What are your favorite: *Mexican restaurants / cafes *Asian restaurants *Ice cream shops *Festivals I especially like the Friday nite car show on Grand Ave, and the Renaissance Faire in Felicity County Park. Definitely looking for more things to do in the area. edit: lists aren't working for me
