Learning to draw. After some spheres (and pyramids) I thought I’d try an eye (always wanted to draw eyes). After a couple of attempts at irises I thought I’d try grey paper with a white pencil (that’s pretty pale) and some white charcoal to give me more range and leeway to add some highlights. The highlights on the eye didn’t quite work out but I’m happy with the rest. Feedback and tips very welcome. Happy to talk about what I’m doing too.
I haven't drawn in this loose style very much before, but my friend inspired me to try. She said she draws basic shapes (triangles, squares) and then does shading, rather than drawing specific things like body parts. I did much more scribbling. What do you think? Anything you like or dislike about my drawings? I'd love to hear :D

So my wife is doing this fun thing on her Instagram where she makes a reel of opening an art supplies advent calendar and then a sketch/painting/whatever with the item she got out. I think they are getting better every day but engagement is constantly dropping. Does anyone have experience with posting their stuff on Instagram? Particularly reels, as that's the new thing that she's doing this month. It's kind of disheartening to see the effort being put in and the amount of likes they get compared to other things on the platform.

I print these on stickers and put them on pretty much all letters and packages I send.
Illegible handwriting replaced with digital text. I used to get up before my wife due to work. I sometimes left her sticky notes, everything from informative to shenanigan. I just rediscovered this one while looking for something else. Looks like I made grated apple that morning.
A leftover drawing I never got around to use in anything. And to why Chewbacca was in court? I totally forgot why. Pencil on paper, and flatbed scanned. Photoshop colors.

Preliminary drawing for larger painting. Address ears, started adding exterior elements. Trying to fill compassion dead spots. Color will be added. I think I may push for chiaroscuro feel as I go on.
Doing some prelims for what I think will be a larger painting. Unsure on the anatomy. Trying to nail a mood.
This started as a monochrome pencil sketch, but I then decided to experiment with backgrounds and color a bit.
I have a Galaxy tab s6 lite and I would love to learn how to draw on it. I downloaded some drawing app and have been messing around with it. It’s kinda complicated but I want to take advantage of the SPen. I would love to draw cities and skylines or really anything. I’ve always been interested in drawing, I’ve just never actually dove in. I’m wondering if anyone has recommendations for specific apps. There are so many and they all have a lot going on so possibly if you would know if a YouTube video that helps explain it?

On the right we have the German spy balloon. Over the hemp is the Kommunist Kangeroo. Middle bottom the auto command bot who always shits when someone mentions the word focus. Over that a panicking hedgehog, and a user explaining his frustration over imported english slang in the German language. A toad..... I will answer questions. Enjoy or don't. Ballpoint pen on paper.
